Do you want to "strengthen the foundations of community by promoting youth development, healthy living and social responsibility?" Are you looking for a place to express your passion and talents? A place where staff fulfillment is one of four parts of the bottom line? We'd love to hear from you.
Y-ASPIRE Site Directors and Program Assistants:
For our 25th year of Y-ASPIRE, we are seeking a few new team members to serve children and families with our national award-winning afterschool enrichment program. If your personal mission includes helping children grow in "spirit, mind and body" and strengthening families, this is an ideal part-time role for you.
The Site Director works with their peers at other sites and the Executive Director (and Program Director when we hire one) to deliver an engaging curriculum in an inclusive and supportive environment. The Program Assistant works with their Site Director to do the same at their program site.
Hours of work are typically 2:30-6:00 for the Site Director and 2:30-5:00 for the Program Assistant. Teens and young adults are encouraged to apply for the Program Assistant positions.
We have openings at our sites in Brattleboro and Dummerston. There is interest in bringing our program back to some schools in the Fall Mountain region so if you live and/or work there, please let us know if your interest, as well.
Paid training. Retention bonus.
Y-ASPIRE Substitutes: An ideal position for para-educators or people working part-time jobs that end before 2:30. We need a pool of 2-4 substitutes for our Y-ASPIRE programs in Brattleboro and Dummerston. Hours are 2:45-5:00. Paid training. Retention bonus.
Meeting Waters YMCA is an equal opportunity employer and actively seeks to build a staff that reflects the diversity of the children, families and communities we serve.
